The biggest event in the eCommerce field of Europe, ECDM Expo was held a few days back in Greece along with the Meet Magento. This mega event witnessed nearly 4k visitors, 100 exhibitors and 50 sponsors from across the globe. The two-day event was organized on 23rd and 24th November 2019 at Zappeion Palace Athens.
Meet Magento Greece, the wonderful Magento event offered a great opportunity to Magento experts as well as the eCommerce agencies to get in touch and talk about current trends and benefits from the different synergy effects.
MageDelight was privileged to be a part of both these amazing events held in Greece. We were proud exhibitors and sponsors at ECDM Expo and the team members Kuldeep Sharma and Harry Vogiatzis were speakers at Meet Magento Greece 2019. Let’s take a quick glance at the event highlights.
Magnificent Exhibition
Initially, the expo started with an exhibition where we got a chance to get in touch directly with some industry experts, leading brands and some of the eCommerce agencies. Building a strong network is what we aimed at, through this exhibition. We achieved our aim for networking while we had our experts settled down at booth #62, meeting certain eCommerce evangelists and agencies.
The Main Conference
Day 1 began with an incredible session on eCommerce trends and the future by the brightest eCommerce minds like Anna Pelkin (Head of Business Development, eBay Israel, Emerging Europe and Africa) and Pavlo Kuznyetsov (Product Manager (Martech), Zalando). Followed by a Digital Marketing session by Kiril Dinov (CCO, Retargeting) and Platforms & Development by Anne Tempelmeier (UX design & research, HubSpot).
On Day 2, in all, four sessions were held on topics like Digital Marketing, Courier, Logistics, and Payments & future technologies. Every session had something important and remarkable points to learn from in order to stay updated in the field of eCommerce.
Meet Magento Greece
Meet Magento was held for the fifth time in Athens. This year, it was organized by Steficon SA. We are thankful to Steficon SA for providing such an opportunity to let our team members be speakers at the event. Our Product Manager, Kuldeep Sharma spoke about Guidelines of Publishing Magento Extension on Marketplace and Harry Vogiatzis presented the enormous Rocket Bazaar Marketplace Suite. Apart from this, several industry experts from across the globe visited and shared their insights on Magento and it’s development.
Final Words
Getting to learn various things at these events, MageDelight is very grateful to everyone for joining. It was a great opportunity for us to build a network with the most influential eCommerce leaders and experts across the globe.
